I remember seeing a warhammer 40k display in the window of the old Braehead store, I don’t remember what was in the display, but I know that what it did do was catch my attention. I picked up my first mini, a Space Marine biker, and painted it (on the sprue) the vivid blue of the Ultramarines. Not long after that I had picked up the 4th edition starter set, and I was hooked for life.
I returned to the hobby after a brief hiatus in 2016 and was brought back in with the excitement of 8th edition. Shown here are some photos from after my return to the hobby and the more interesting models I’ve painted in that time.
